Hi, I'm Miki.
I’m a mother to two gorgeous girls and a doula with lived experience of the joys, challenges, and vulnerabilities that come with the journey into motherhood, including pregnancy losses. I had two very different, though both quick and intuitive births, and these experiences taught me how deeply personal, unique and transformative each journey can be.
They inspire the way I support women: with empathy, calm presence, and understanding.
I became a doula because I am passionate about guiding women through every stage of motherhood, from conception and pregnancy to birth, postpartum, and times of loss. I believe every woman deserves to feel seen, held, and emotionally steady as she navigates these profound experiences.
My approach is warm, attentive, and grounded in both intuition and evidence-based information. I walk beside my clients rather than directing their experience, offering reassurance, clarity, evidence-based guidance, and support that honours who they are and the choices that feel right for them. For me, this is “where knowledge meets nurture”: combining reliable, evidence-based information with compassionate, personalised support so you feel informed, grounded, and truly cared for at every stage of your motherhood journey.
I am a qualified doula, trained in London with The Birth Bliss Academy, and I continue to deepen my knowledge through ongoing learning in antenatal, birth and postpartum care. Before becoming a doula, I worked in journalism and translation, skills that help me listen deeply, communicate clearly, and support clients in making informed decisions.
Every woman’s journey is unique, and my goal is to create a safe, nurturing space where you feel empowered, grounded, and supported.
I would be honoured to walk alongside you at any stage of your motherhood journey.
