Doula support for your workplace

Pregnancy, birth and the first months of parenthood are among the biggest transitions your people will go through, and in the UAE many of them do it far from family.

I work with organisations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai to support expecting and new parents before, during and after parental leave, alongside your existing healthcare and wellbeing provision.

Why it matters here

In the UAE private sector, maternity leave is 60 days and parental leave is five working days. Many parents are back at work while still recovering from birth, feeding their baby and adjusting to family life, often without grandparents or close friends nearby.

The right support around leave helps your people return with confidence, and helps you keep them.

Working towards the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority's Parent-Friendly Label, or already holding it? Practical support for parents before, during and after leave can sit at the heart of the family wellbeing and workplace culture you want to show.

How I can support your people

  • Introductory talk or breakfast. A relaxed 60-minute session for expecting and new parents, to open the conversation and introduce the support available.

  • Themed workshops. 90-minute sessions shaped around your team. Topics can include preparing for birth, supporting partners and new fathers, the fourth trimester, planning parental leave, returning to work while feeding your baby, pumping and storing milk and coping with pregnancy loss, among many others.

  • Parental leave and return-to-work support. Helping employees plan their leave, prepare for coming back, and keep feeding their baby once they do, from pumping at work to making the most of the daily nursing breaks they are entitled to. I can also advise you on setting up a comfortable, private space for pumping.

  • Manager briefings. Short sessions for line managers on supporting a team member before, during and after parental leave.

  • Office hours. Regular time on site or online when employees can book a confidential one-to-one conversation.

  • One-to-one doula support. Antenatal, birth, postpartum, night and infant feeding support for individual employees, in English, French or Italian. It can be funded or subsidised by you, or booked privately by your employees at a preferential partner rate.

  • Ongoing partnership. A regular programme combining workshops, office hours and a monthly online Q&A for your parents' network.

Practical details

Group sessions are delivered in English, in person or online, so teams across shifts and sites can join. Sessions can be open to all parents or women-only, depending on your team.

Everything an employee shares with me stays confidential. My support is non-medical and complementary to clinical care, and I work alongside your medical, HR and wellbeing teams.

Why work with me

I'm a qualified doula, trained in London with The Birth Bliss Academy, and a mother of two with lived experience of pregnancy, birth and loss.

Before becoming a doula, I spent over ten years in marketing for finance and professional services, so I understand how organisations and their people work. Based in Abu Dhabi, I support families across Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Let's talk

Every organisation is different, so each partnership is shaped around your people. Tell me a little about your team and I'll come back to you with ideas.
